Forte' Incorporated president Glenn S. Phillips was named as a commissioner for the Alabama State Department of Education's Career and Technical Education Commission.

The purpose of the CTE Commission is to review the status of high school CTE programs and offerings in Alabama, research the needs of employers in Alabama, then make recommendations to the Alabama Board of Education, the Governor of Alabama, and members of the Alabama Legislature on how to strengthen and support quality CTE programs and initiatives in Alabama public schools, providing high school, two-year, and four-year college graduates with high-quality and sustainable jobs in order to improve Alabama's economic future.
